Introduction to Imaging Assignment

This will explain the Introduction to Imaging assignments being done for the IS 208 UCLA course Spring 2001.  This will serve as a text for the class, explaining issues of scanning cultural heritage materials.  Because the book will be revised this summer, students will review, evaluate, and suggest changes for the revised edition.  In addition, by looking at both the print and the Web version, students will gain insight into what is appropriate for each delivery media, and how to use each media most effectively.
